Samsung Q2 Ultra UMPC details leaked
By Julian Prokaza on Tuesday, 08 January 2008

Samsung Q2The Samsung Q1 Ultra Premium UMPC currently on show at CES may be just another boring iteration of the same uninspiring handheld that first appeared a couple of years ago, but the same can't be said of it's successor – the Q2.

Well actually, it can. According to some leaked information over at Endgadget, although it has a new design, the Samsung Q2 still looks much the same as the Q1 and it has the same 7in screen, 1Gb of RAM, 60Gb hard drive and awkward split Qwerty keyboard.

Samsung R60 Plus
By Sasha Muller on Wednesday, 12 December 2007

Samsung R60 PlusSamsung’s Aura range of laptops are a fantastically stylish-looking bunch. Unfortunately, those looks come at a price — even the cheapest model we’ve seen, the Samsung R70, will set you back just over £700. Indeed, if you’ve been looking for a laptop for under £400, then you might have abandoned all hope of finding a good-looking, well-specified portable from any of the big brands. Well, Samsung’s R60 Plus might be just what you are looking for.

Samsung's super slim smartphone
By Nick Mansell on Wednesday, 07 May 2008

Samsuing i200This is, according to Samsung, the world's slimmest smartphone and, at 11.8mm, who are we to argue? Despite its diminutive size, it manages to pack Windows Mobile 6.1 and HSDPA into its candybar frame. There's also a cunning light sensor to adjust the backlight according to the conditions, eeking out the standby time to a hearty 15 days.

The QVGA screen stretches to 2.3in. A 2mp camera and a microSD slot have also been squeezed in, which is just as well because there's only 25MB on-board for the media player to take advantage of.

It'll be out this month as an Orange and Carphone Warehouse exclusive. Pricing is TBA.

Samsung's ultra-slim WEP350 headset
By Nick Mansell on Monday, 07 April 2008

Samsung WEP350Samsung calls this 'one' of the slimmest Bluetooth headsets in the world but having looked at the specs, we think there may be prizes for anyone finds one thinner. At just 5.9mm it's the Jacobs Cream Cracker of hi-tech ear-wear.

Not surprisingly, the WEP350 doesn't have the longest of battery lives, managing 100 hours on standby and five hours of talk time but it weighs a mere 7.1g and comes with its own charging stand to keep it topped up.

It's been announced alongside the 'premium' WEP700. Both should be arriving next month.
