Aborted Windows 7 Family Guy scenes revealed - they're worse than we ever imagined

We didn’t bother writing about the argy bargy that ensued when Microsoft made the bizarre decision to peddle Windows 7 by sponsoring a few scenes to shoehorn into an episode of Family Guy (largely because Family Guy is a laugh-drought at the best of times), but it’s interesting to see just what the show’s writers came up with. Well, maybe "interesting" isn't quite the right word...
Presumably, Microsoft simply provided a few key points that the scenes had to get across and left everything else to Seth McFarlane’s crew. Microsoft, however, got cold feet after it, er, apparently watched the show for the first time ever.
“We initially chose to participate in the Seth and Alex variety show based on the audience composition and creative humor of ‘Family Guy,’ but after reviewing an early version of the variety show it became clear that the content was not a fit with the Windows brand,” said a Microsoft spokesperson. “We continue to have a good partnership with Fox, Seth MacFarlane and Alex Borstein and are working with them in other areas. We continue to believe in the value of brand integrations and partnerships between brands, media companies and talent.”
Given that animated shows take a little longer to put together than most other types of TV, the Windows 7 episode of Family Guy was made anyway, without Microsoft’s involvement, and the Windows 7 scenes have been released for all to see. And, as you might expect, they make that excruciating Windows 7 launch party video look like an unseen clip from Seinfeld…

I grant you that these videos are particularly poor (and I'm surprised that Seth sold out like this).
But "Family Guy" and "laugh-drought" are rarely heard in the same sentence.
Ah … hang on … you don't get the jokes. Do you.
many people don't like family guy anyway ... many are lame and not funny :p what more can I say ?
