The Pomegranate NS08 - so good, you'll want to move to Nova Scotia

Pomegranate NS08We don’t see too many inventive tech-related ad campaigns these days, so it’s all the more refreshing when something particularly clever turns up. Smartphones seem to inspiring ad agencies at the moment – Samsung tickled out funny bone with its Omnia unboxing video a few months ago, and now there’s the Pomegranate NS08.

The pitch is for a fictional smartphone that does everything, but after you sit through several amusing video clips that extol its voice translation, image projecting, coffee brewing, shaving and harmonica-playing abilities, the truth is revealed. So, while you may not be able to get everything you want in one device, you can get everything you want in one place – Nova Scotia (you mean the folded-out NS08 image didn’t give it away?). Yes, it’s a “Come to Nova Scotia” campaign, but at least it’s a funny one.
