Replace your iPhone 3G screen for $85

iPhone 3G replacement screenAs anyone who's had to have their iPhone battery replaced will know, Apple isn't big on providing cheap spare parts for a spot of DIY repair but that hasn't stopped others. Brando's just come up with this nifty replacement screen should the worst happen to your iPhone 3G's LCD.

Costing a very reasonable $85, it'll do the same touchscreen job as your old one and while we can't vouch for its quality we wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't put together in the same Chinese factory Apple uses.

There's also an iPhone opening kit for getting inside your delicate handset. It costs $11 and includes a plectrum for, er, well we're not sure what for but it's nice to have all the same.
