Having seen Fujitsu's tiny 5.6in Lifebook gracing display stands with 'look but don't touch' signs attached, we've finally got a full run down of the spec sheet and some decent hands-on photos.
The snaps and specs have appeared on Vietemese forum, Tinhe te, and confirm that the U2010 will come with the option of a 1.6 or 1.8Ghz Atom processor, 1GB RAM and an 80GB hard drive. Click through for more details and images.
It runs Vista Business, which means it will be able to take advantage of Vista's superior handwriting recognition and touchscreen abilities. Remarkably, HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth have also all been squeezed in.
Although small enough for hand-held, two-thumb typing, the U2010 looks to have a reasonable sized keyboard but no obvious touchpad. Pointer duty can of course be handled by the stylus and touchscreen but there do also appear to be some physical controls at the base of the screen in lieu of a traditional mouse substitue.
The screen itself swivels and folds flat, making a it a true tablet PC, and has what appears to be a fingerprint scanner in one corner. The resolution is particularly impressive at 1024x768.
The site lists the price as a hefty $1300 (£655), which puts it on a par with previous slimline Lifebooks but doesn't point to when it will be out.
There's five minutes of video set to a spot of classical piano on the Tinh te forum. Watch out for the bit where he nearly drops it - the Lifebook, we mean, not the piano.

I love all the mini notebooks companies have been producing lately. It is very reminiscent of the Toshiba Libretto which was my first love affair with a mini notebook. For some reason I can help but notice these, because I love the prospect of a full fledged laptop that can fit in my cargo pocket.
