See the MSI Wind being removed from its box!
Review by Julian Prokaza on Tue 01 July 2008
The MSI Wind netbook arrived in the Mobile Computer office a short while ago and we’ve shot a couple of videos to tide you over until we publish the full review. The first is a riveting unboxing video that shows the Intel Atom-powered MSI Wind being carefully removed from the box it comes in. See the video after the cut...

Hope you treat the Wind better than you treated the Wind's box that it came in.
Heh, I totally agree. When I saw that I was thinking "Man, this guy handles computers? yikes!"
He should use those scissors to stab himself in the eyes, the great lummox. Poor box. I bet he keeps his biscuits in it now.
The box contains 2 CDs for an ultraportable with no CD drive. Wonder what is in that CD ? and what these people were thinking .. :?:
YAWN. Why would anyone post anything so unremittingly BORING?
Give him a break, boxes can be hard to open!!! Anyway, it shows a good view of what the order is when it is opened of what you see, that's all it's meant to be!I did want to ask though, do you know anywhere that I could buy a cable to connect my external cd/dvd drive to the notebook?
How do you load CDs on this notebook? Does it have a CD drive?Hey, let's not blame the man too much for trying to destroy the box! He was probably too excited!

I want to buy one of these from Amazon.co. uk but there seems to be the u100 version here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-Netbook-Black-Webcam-Bluetooth/dp/B001G3GYEG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1226359172&sr=1-1 for £299 and this version here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-Netbook-Black-Webcam-Bluetooth/dp/B001G3GYEG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1226359172&sr=1-1 which is from the same supplier has a smaller hard drive yet is £329 but it has a 'UK' in the title, does this mean that the cheaper one is not a UK keyboard ? and has the @ key on one of the number keys like some other keyboards I've seen rather than above the ' key to the left of Enter like on my current keyboard?
Thanks in advance..
