HTC announced another Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone today at Computex – the Touch Pro.

Styled after HTC's recent Touch Diamond handset, the Touch Pro also incorporates elements previously found in the HTC TyTN II, most notably a slide-out Qwerty keyboard. The Touch Pro considerably smaller than the TyTN II though, and only a few millimetres thicker than the Touch Diamond.

The Touch Diamond uses the same TouchFLO 3D user interface as the Touch Diamond and keyboard aside, the specifications of the two handsets are identical. The handset will be available in Europe towards the end of the summer, but there’s no information about pricing as yet. The full press release is below.

Turning the device sideways automatically rotates the web page view from a portrait to landscape view.

In addition to Web browsing, the Touch Pro includes an HTC-developed, YouTube application for watching a variety of user generated video content as well as including Google Maps for mobile for mapping and traffic data.
