How do I play albums in Windows Mobile Media Player?
By Mark Wilson on Wednesday, 05 September 2007

Maybe I'm just too used to my iPod, but I find it very difficult to navigate through the mobile version of Windows Media Player. Having used the Library to select an album to listen to, when it is finished I click Menu followed by Library to try to choose another album. However, rather than being transported to the root of the library, I am shown the same album tracks again. Am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it's meant to work?

Samuel Jarvis, via email

The Library can be viewed almost as an entirely different program to Windows Media Player, although the two are obviously related. When you launch the Library you will automatically be taken to the last location you were looking at - that is, the last album you selected.

The easiest way to navigate to another album is to click the name of the album that appears in the upper left of the Media Player screen - the menu that appears will enable you to navigate to a different album.
