I know it's possible to use a mobile phone as a modem with a laptop, but I would like to do something slightly different. I have a laptop which does not have wireless capabilities, and an iPaq which does. Is it possible to connect the two and allow the laptop to use the iPaq's wireless connection?

Unfortunately, Windows Mobile doesn't allow its wireless internet connection to be shared with other machines, so you can't connect your laptop and iPaq in this way. Your best bet is to invest in a USB or PC Card Wi-Fi adaptor for your laptop, instead.
